and in complete safety For men & Women
A Burst of radiance for your face You can stay young and maintain a healthy complexion as long as you look after yourself. Unfortunately with aging the skin starts to lose its elasticity, the lips lose their volume, crows feet appear around the eyes. If only we could have a tiny boost here & there well, you can act now & let your wishes come true
Without the need for preliminary tests, a simple injection of Juvederm, will erase minor imperfections and signs of ageing, leaving your skin incredibly even and smooth.
Juvederm fills in nasolabial folds and marionette lines or smoothes moderate or superficial wrinkles.Very naturally but not irreversibly, your lips regain their sensuality and your face its smooth curves.
Juvederm is also an excellent volume enhancer, which - when injected into the cheeks will restore your youthful, healthy appearance.
Over the past few years, hyaluronic acid has emerged as the miracle compound for filling in wrinkles.
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally present in the dermis and serves to keep tissues hydrated, slowly becoming resorbed over time.
Juvederm injections provide a replacement source of this hyaluronic acid, which gradually disappears with age.
The benefits of Juvederm
Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid in the form of a transparent, homogeneous viscoelastic gel that has four essential benefits:
Immediate, Long Lasting Results
Juvederm allows immediate treatment. A touch-up after a few weeks ensures optimum, long-lasting results.
The effects of Juvederm usually last for 9 months. This period varies according to the type of skin, the areas treated, the amounts injected and the injection technique. In some cases, the effects may last for up to one year.
On average & depending on the viscosity of Juvederm, the effect lasts for 6-12 months in the lips because of their high vascularisation.
The L.E.A. Derm laboratory has made every effort to optimise the longevity of Juvederm, thanks to a highly concentrated formula and the use of an innovative manufacturing process known as cross-linking, which connects hyaluronic acid molecules to each other via chemical " bridges'. The resultant molecules are larger and therefore more resistant to In situ degradation.

PATIENT INFORMATION
Juvederm
Important Advice for patients treated with Juvederm.
Soon after your treatment with Juvederm there may be slight redness, swelling and some tenderness and itching at the site of the treated areas. This is a normal effect of the injection, it is only temporary and as a rule will disappear in one or two days. If it persists, or if any other reactions occur, then contact your medical practitioner.
When the lips are injected the initial swelling may last longer. Some patients can experience swelling for up to one week and the lips can look uneven during that time. Therefore the immediate result after Juvederm treatment to the lips is not the final result.
Avoid touching the treated areas for at least 6 hours. Then, the areas can be washed gently with soap and water and light make-up can be applied.
Patients who have had herpes simplex (cold sores) in the past should note that there is always a risk that injecting any product around the lips may cause the herpes to flare up again.
Patients taking aspirin or similar medication should be aware that this could increase bleeding and bruising at the sites of injection.
Juvederm will gradually dissolve over a few months and the results achieved are not permanent. It will be necessary to visit your practitioner again and it is usual to have Juvederm treatment again within six months of the original treatment.
